Hot summer nights...

Summer is here and what better way to spend your evening than with a group of friends. Summer parties can be tons of fun, but we also face challenges when having weekend parties. Here are some tips to having a successful summer show.

1) Think weekday...once the warm weather hits and social/wedding season starts, it can be more of a challenge to keep your attendance up. We want your show to be as successful as possible, so by hosting during the week, you can improve your attendance. Having a "Hump" day party on Wednesday can be fun and a lot of times just the name alone will bring people out. Thursday nights can be good too, because for most people, you only have one more day of getting up early in the week. Another bonus, hostesses can always purchase a half price item when they host Monday - Thursday.

2) Over invite...Normally our attendance is far greater than others in this industry, the ladies just seem to be super excited to attend but even we can feel a bit of a decline during warm weather (ok, and when its minus 50!!). It is always better to over invite. Asking all your guests to invite their friends and family and we can give a gift to the person who brings the most. Also, by collecting outside orders before the show, you are ensuring you get all your items off your wish list.

3) Party with a purpose...We have had hostesses with many different ideas for thier parties. We have had lots for stagettes, birthdays and divorce parties. There have been others to gather prizes for social donations and to raise funds for charitable event sand organizations. And of course some just want to add some fun to the festivities like a Hawaiian night (wanna get lei'd...ha ha). Whatever the reason, let us help you have the most sucessful evening.

4) B.B.Q. or a potluck...if you want to start earlier in effort to end earlier, you can always do it right after work. Have guests arrive after work and we can chat while you enjoy your meal. That way, guests who are pressed for time can still be home by 7 or so. Plus, less prep for you.

5) Book party...if all else fails and you have your eye on a certain item but schedules don't jive, have a book party. We have had many sucessful "silent" parties over the years. The hostess benefit is still the same, and it can accomodate everyones schedule.
